I really appreciated the well thought, well chosen theme of yours for this week. I was talking a bit abt the same but you brought so much clarity and detail along with elcetions too. very well done! keep it up! And last but not the least, Shibani enjoyed the class and this is a reason big enough to look forward to the next week's Spectacular space. I saw her hanging around with some space book too! First of all, let me congratulate you on starting Class Apart. The three classes that have been conducted so far have covered three totally different topics and each class has been better than the other. In a short span of an hour, kids get to learn about issues and concepts that are important but are ignored by school curriculum and by parents as well who pay more attention to school subjects rather than overall development of a child's personality. This class bridges the gap between what is taught at schools and homes and what needs to be taught but woefully ignored. The amount of prep work that you put in for each class is evident in the way you teach and in the quality of the handouts that are given out in each class. Its very heartening to note that there are unassuming people like you who have a realm of expertise on a wide range of topics and are willing to share it with kids in a manner which they understand. The best part about this class is that they learn while having a whale of a time. Hats off to you for starting a class that is indeed a 'class apart'.
S2t has so much fun coming to see Garima aunty that she wishes the classes came sooner! She is very enthusiastic about coming to the class and looks forward to every tuesday with bated breath, so much so that Shrey wants to join the class too!!
Hi Garima, just wanted to tell you that Ishaan really looks forward to come to the class and enjoys it very much. I liked the concept of the quiz though I couldn't stay for long that day. Thanks for starting such an innovative class. Sonal.
